I haven't traveled as far and wide as some, but from the places that I have seen, Switzerland is absolutely the BEST! It might just be the most beautiful country in the world. I know that's a bold statement but there is just so much to love - towns with character and history, green rolling farmland, a varied cuisine inspired by French, German, and Italian flavors, respectful and kind people who love to be outdoors hiking on the weekend, and so much more.
As a second generation Swiss born in San Diego, my love for Switzerland might be slightly biased since I grew up listening to Swiss music, going to the Swiss events in San Diego, and eating my mom's delicious Swiss recipes. Some of my fondest childhood memories took place in Switzerland when visiting my Grossi (grandma) and Grossvati (grandpa) and all of my other Swiss relatives.
